Inscribed Angle- An angle formed by 2 chords that share a common endpoint.
In this picture, angle ABC is the inscribed angle, while angle AOC is the central angle.

Tangent- A line that touches a circle at exactly one point and one point only. The line, therefore, is perpendicular to the radius. The point where the line comes into contact with the outer edge of the circle is called the Point of Tangency.
Some Rules to Remember
- In a semi-circle, there is always a 90° angle.
- The inscribed angle is always half of the central angles' degrees.
